As long time dog owners and breeders, we are asked a lot about what we use and find helpful when raising, living, and loving. Here is some of the things on our favorite list.
As puppies move to their new homes they have to adjust to not having those warm snuggle buddies of their litter around. We have found a pet safe heating pad works wonders in creating a calm environment that makes the transition so much easier. All of our puppies have grown up with this one.
Green shakes are in our daily routine, why wouldn't we want them to be for our pets. We love this nutrition because it can be sprinkled over any food and provides nutrition to help their joints stay healthy even at a young age, helps their tummies stay happy, their coats stay shinny, and their breath fresh. Plus, it removes glyphosate from their system, which causes all sorts of problems in them, just like it does in people.
Kennel training is something we strongly encourage. When done correctly, a kennel can become a safe, den-like environment for your pup when you are not able to supervise them. We love this style because it gives you two door options. We encourage lots of play in and out of the kennel and to have it in a busy area of your home as you are training so that it is not connected to punishment or loneliness for the pup.
Just like with babies, make sure to use tear free shampoo when giving them a bath. We love this one.
Make sure pup has access to a little water while in their kennel, but a bowl can be quite a mess. We use these bottles. Doesn't take much training and they use them very well...and you don't have to clean up a turned-over water bowl.
Daily care of a doodle coat is vital. We love this kind of slicker brush and have found it to be great as a pup grows up and gets more adult hair.
These aren't for small pups, but it doesn't take long for them to be big enough to LOVE these. We have been impressed with their toughness. Asti is a massive chewer and she has yet to destroy one of these. She loves them, though, and will carry them around.
I'm not a fan of disposable pee pads. Not only for the earth aspect, but big pups tend to make a mess of them. Having reusable ones are great and much more durable. Use them for when you can't let your little one out, or just as a designated spot for all things pup.
These are affiliate links, meaning while the price stays the same for you, Amazon and other companies give us a "Thank You" commission for suggesting. All of these products are suggested because we love them and have either these exact items, or ones with similar features and would suggest them to our friends.
